Fragment Foundation
The Fragment Foundation is a major heroic fraction in The Murderverse led by Pico and Hank J. Wimbleton.
Originally known as the Virus Fragments, the Fragments started life as a cult that worshiped Metabomb, also known as the Virus. Led by Dr. Michi Ito and Hercules Pirate Poyrot Iamfrench, the Virus Fragments sought to revive Metabomb and kill the Timeline Master by forcefully recruiting people into the cult so Dr. Michi and Hercules could gain Ideaverse power to fulfill their goals. They acted as the driving force behind .EXE ~ A Virus Containment Game 3, where they successfully brainwashed several people into joining. After the events of .EXE 3, the Fragments slowly accumulated Ideaverse power until they became powerful enough to revive people. Using their new resurrection machine, the Fragments brought back Metabomb, who became disillusioned with the Fragments and refused to associate with them.
Now without the support of their namesake, the Fragments became solely focused on defeating the Timeline Master. They continued to spread their influence through the Discord-only vignettes Sniper No Sniping and Clusterfuck Experience. Within the ranks of the Fragments, however, it was during this time discontent towards Hercules and Michi began to grow, further fueled by the forced "re-education" of Amanda. This discontent eventually spiraled into violent revolution at the end of Fragmented Grounds, which saw Hercules and Michi being cast from power and replaced by Pico and Hank. From then out the Fragment Foundation, as it is now known, discontinued its use of murdergames and brainwashing and shifted its focus to opposing murdergames in general, though killing the TM still remains a top goal of the Foundation.
