Pearl
Pearl, or 'Fun' Pearl (FP for short), is a Gem who first appeared in Destroy the Corruption, alongside her longtime friend Mica.
Appearance
FP has the standard slender complexion and long beak-like nose that all pearls have, but she also has brown eyes, light brown skin and dark brown hair in an afro style. Her outfit seems unique for a pearl, since she's not wearing a dancer's outfit. Instead, she wears a yellow t-shirt, with purple suspenders holding up her high-waisted green leggings, and a pair of red boots. She also seems to have a bust size larger than that of the average pearl.
Personality
In Era 2, she was highly energetic, and loved to have fun, something her former owner/best friend Mica really appreciated. She was highly willing to help Mica however she could, and was nice and generous to her, even letting Mica have time to herself if she asked for it. She also showed major loyalty to Mica, never once willing to betray her for anything, no matter what. She even stayed with Mica come Era 3, despite no longer being forced to work for her, and was highly excited to explore Earth (on her best friend's suggestion) with her.
However, she changed while on Earth, as many young humans (especially kids) made lots of poop jokes, which she initially didn't get and thought they were wanting to have fun. Then she was told by an adult human what was really going on, and, for a while, she accepted the jokes, even joining in on them at times. When the kids saw her joining the banter, they eventually stopped, yet Gems who were against Era 3 (e.g. Eyeball) caught wind of the jokes and used them maliciously against her. FP didn't like that, and, even after they were driven away, she became cynical and bitter. While she does continue hanging out with Mica out of loyalty, she doesn't seem to want to have fun anymore.
Skils and Abilities
While she does have a skillset, in Era 3 she found that she had supernatural abilities previously unknown to everyone. The full list is as follows:
- Eidetic Memory: She can never forget a thing that has happened in her life, which may have contributed to her aforementioned personality shift.
- Enhanced Breath: FP can apparently utilise this, using her breath to create a vortex of wind. And since she has the GPP (Gem Power Package - which comes with Absolute Stamina), then she can utilise this for as long as needed.
- Invisibility Vision: Don't bother trying to use invis powers to get past her, as she can see you regardless of that. Moonstone learnt that the hard way.
- Humor Intuition: FP had a very good sense of humor, something she never lost despite the personality shift. She is capable of using this to entertain anyone.
- Parallel Processing: A result of her personality shift, which allowed her to focus her mind more on processing more than one thing at a time. She can process four thoughts simultaneously at the maximum, though.
Relationships
Mica
She was originally created to be Mica's assistant, helping her however she could. However, she proved to be more than just helpful, she seemed to know how best to interact with her superior, to the point where everyone thought she was an excellent influence on Mica, since they noticed positive changes in the latter Gem, which they attributed to Pearl. This persisted all throughout Era 2, and even in Era 3, showing loyalty to Mica even though she need not do anything for her anymore. The two were pretty much inseparable friends, always willing to help each other. Even after FP's personality shift, she still stayed with Mica, and tried not to upset the latter, proving her loyalty.
Aquamarine
It was this Gem that caused the personality shift, because she was in the area when the kids started the poop jokes, and Aquamarine also heard the adult human explaining them to FP. This caused her to antagonise the former with said jokes, which, after 336 hours (That's 14 days, or two weeks) of constantly harassing the pearl, eventually caused FP to snap and yell at the blue jerk for two straight hours. This ended with Aquamarine sarcastically saying she was 'blown away', only for the pearl to take that literally and discover her enhanced breath powers, much to the surprise of both, as well as those present. Ever since FP has been neutral to Aquamarine because, on one hand, she had to endure two straight weeks of constant poop jokes, while on the other hand, it was thanks to her that FP discovered her breath powers, yet became more cynical anyways in case others tried the same thing.

- Her appearance is largely inspired by Morty from the western series Rick and Morty.
