A murdergame is a game whose premise can be summed up as, approximately, "a group of players are trapped in a closed circle and must kill each other as the host prescribes". Most murdergames are patterned off of either the social deduction game Mafia or the visual novel Danganronpa, though some do not neatly fit a broader pattern.
